Julie McDonough has been a full-time studio glass artist since 1987. Her primary focus is contemporary commissioned architectural glass for residential and commercial properties. Her work can be seen throughout the United States and in 1995 she was chosen to create and present the Stewardship theme for Presbyterian USA and her work was published internationally.

In 2004, she was honored in Niche magazine for "New Work in Glass" with her lighted glass house series further establishing her presence as a gallery artist.
